ఇంగ్లీష్ భాషలో స్పోకెన్ ఇంగ్లీష్ లో మనం మాట్లాడే విధానాన్ని సోషల్ లాంగ్వేజ్ గా భావించాలి. ఎందుకంటే మానవుడు సంఘజీవి కనుక.
సోషల్ లాంగ్వేజ్ అర్థం ఏమిటంటే....
" The formal language used in the society for speaking is known as social language "
సాధారణమైన, గ్రామరు పరంగా, వాక్య నిర్మాణ పరంగా పలకరింపులు జరుగుతూ ఉంటాయి. వాటిని వివిధ సందర్భాలలో సందర్భానుసారంగా ఉపయోగించుకుంటుంటాము. వీటినే సోషల్ లాంగ్వేజెస్ అంటారు.
వాటిలో మొదటగా ముఖ్యమైనది ‘‘గ్రీటింగ్’’ అంటే...పలకరింపు అన్న మాట. దీనిని ఎలా ఉపయోగిస్తామో చూద్దాం....!!
Greetings :
There are three kinds of Greetings.
They are :
1. Greetings at the time of meeting
2. Greetings at the time of leaving
3. Occasional Greetings
Greetings at the time of Leaving :
The words used on leaving some one is called greetings at the time of leaving.
1. Good Night : It can be greeted to a person before leaving in the evening. We can not greet good night when we meet a person in the evening.
2. Good Day : It can be greeted at the time of leaving in the day time especially in the morning.
3. Have a good / nice / wonderful day.
4. Good bye : It is used when leaving or being left by some body. It is usually used for a long period of leave.
5. Bye - It can be used any time leaving a person.
6. Bye - bye - (It is used especially when speaking to young children) sleep
Example : It is time to go to bye - bye
7. See you again
8. Meet you again
9. See you later
ఇవన్నీ కూడానూ కలిసి వీడ్కోలు తీసుకొనేటప్పుడు చెప్పేటటువంటి సోషల్ లాంగ్వేజ్ లోని ఒక భాగమన్నమాట.
